SERAC-Bangladesh launched the 1st National Youth Conference on Family Planning (BNYCFP 2016) on September 6, 2016, followed by seven highly successful conferences (BNYCFP2017, BNYCFP2018, BNYCFP2019, BNYCFP2020, BNYCFP2021, BNYCFP2022, and BNYCFP2023), making it the largest youth-focused annual event on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh. After the immense success of these past events, we are thrilled to announce the Bangladesh 9th National Youth Conference on Family Planning 2024, scheduled for October 29-30, 2024 in Dhaka.

In collaboration with the USAID's Adolescent Health Activity, Global Affairs Canada, Bangladesh Youth Health Action Network (BYHAN), Coalition of Youth Organizations in Bangladesh (CYOB), FP2030, Global Financing Facility, HealthBridge Foundation, Ipas, Jhpiego, Mott MacDonald Inc, Marie Stopes Bangladesh, Pathfinder International, Share-net Bangladesh, Youth Coalition for Climate Justice, UNICEF, and UNFPA, SERAC-Bangladesh is hosting this in-person event with an aim to engage adolescent champions and youth leaders from across Bangladesh, amplifying their voices on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), mental health, and fostering connections with global leaders to generate commitments for youth and evaluate actions that prioritize young people’s health and rights.
Under the theme ‘Engage. Educate. Empower', this year’s conference will focus on youth empowerment, family planning, and gender equality, bringing together over 500 young leaders, government stakeholders, and civil society organizations. Distinguished international speakers will join us in-person and virtually, creating a dynamic and impactful experience for all participants.
